Guys guys, pleasee go see it, PLEASEE

His name has one 'u' by the way.
please look up spelling before you make a wikia about it.
i always thought if jj as a character that was made with one large flaw, he was made to be hated. this means giving him an annoying personality and catchphrase, he was almost set up for fail from the start. don't get me wrong i'm not a big fan of jj, however we see his softer side during episode 11 and 12.
i just wanna know if anyone thinks the same as i do, but feel free to state your mind
So like. So far, barring episodes, we've got around five~ish categories for other stuff, like promotional art, the game collab, merchindise, etc. Not everything is being uploaded where it should, though, and I'm also starting to wonder if we should have a seperate category for the discography covers (cd, bluray/dvd)... the only problem with that is that it'll end up taking up a lot of space so I'm unsure...
Thoughts?
Why does this show have an obsession with undercuts? Theres like, at least 4 people in the show with an undercut XD Did they run out of hairstyles or something? (Those undercuts look hot though, no offence)
For some characters, mainly Yuuri, Viktor, and Yurio, their plot is pretty extensive and can make their pages lengthy. We currently use collapsible text to shorten the plot. Some users suggested using tabs and creating subpages, like the image gallery.
So I guess my question is, would you prefer that we keep the pages as they are or implement tabs?
I, for one, don't really have a preference, so I just want to know everyone else's opinions before making any huge changes.
I feel like there should be a list of places to go an get Pork Cutlet bowls.
So I am starting this little thread because Yuri make sme want Pork Cutlet bowls.
feel free to add places you know of where to get them.
North Carolina, Greensboro -'Toshi's Cafe'
California, Los Angeles - 'Sushi Go 55
New York, New York 'Katsu Hama'
hi guys
i've seen that in some episode summaries, every single time a character is mentioned, their name is linked to their page.
i find this kind of unnecessary, and i think a character should only be linked the very first time they are mentioned and no more than that ,,
what do you guys think about adding a character's star sign after their birthdays? i'm one of those people who like to know star signs of everyone yikes
e.g. November 29 (Sagittarius)
or not, then in the trivia section?
I think the characters on the front page should include all the featured figure skaters, like JJ, Seung-gil, Emil, etc., instead of the Nishigori's and Minako, especially since it's almost the end of the season. They are important to Yuuri in the development, so it's fine that they are there, but I think that it is also important to have all his competitors on the front page. Like Minami's only been in one episode and he's not even one of Yuuri's main competitors.
So I've been seeing the additions to the Programs section of the character pages, and while they're defnitely appreciated I think I should probably make a couple of things clear.
First of all. Skaters have three programs each season: the short program, free skate, and then an exhibition program for the gala. It's not helpful describing their programs as "_competition_ performance" because that's not...exactly accurate. This goes not only for the Program section but also the Plot section. We already know what competiton is in each episode.
Second, there's no need for the technical aspects of the program to be featured in the Plot section. Those elements are unlikely to change from competition to competition, and most skaters keep them the same for the whole season.
Third, when editing the Program section there should be two descriptions: one of the music/theme and one of the technical elements of the program. Don't include competition-by-competition details please. Yuuri's Program section is a pretty good example for now. The technical layout for Yuri on Ice isn't there yet, but thanks to the latest episode it'll be up soon.
These are. Tips to make the wiki more organized? It makes more sense to do things this way so please do. It's much less of a headache and makes things easier to read.
As an avid figure skating fan, I would like to request a modification to Yuuri's trivia section. I think, that direct comparisons with actual skaters should probably be avoided, because they're based on speculation/personal opinion. The following is not canon at all:
Many figure skating fans, including myself, do not agree with this and there are actually indications, that the creators had a different japanese skater in mind concerning Yuuri's skating style.
I'm a fan of figure skating, and from what I know, 'professional' is used to describe skaters who mainly receive compensation to skate, for example, in ice shows. The skaters we have in Yuri!!! on Ice focus mainly on competing (that is not to say that they cannot skate in ice shows, but there are regulations I believe?) should be called 'competitive' skaters.
I feel like it'd be best to limit the information put there to actual specific skills instead of generalisations.
Like, we know that certain characters are "geniuses" and "prodigies" and while that does say something about their skill level it's not...indicative of what exactly it is that makes them so special? Like, yes, this guy's a champion skater, but is it his jumps that land him on the podium, or is it his footwork? What does he do that's especially unique or significant? Does he have any signature moves? What can he do that most of his competitors can't?
I'll use Yuzuru Hanyu as an example. If we were to make a page about him (lol) information about his being called "the greatest men's skater in the history of the sport" (EuroSports commentators, GPF 2015 during Seimei) would be better off in the Background versus Skills. What would we want in Skills? Information on his quads (especially the loop), his Ina Bauer, his Biellmann, even his hydroblading! That's good, specific information about his skillset there.
That kind of very specific information would fit better in the Skills subcategory compared to "he's a genius/champion skater, he's competing with people way older than him, he's undefeated."
Also, again, in general wouldn't information about their overal skill level and how it measures up to their competitors be better suited in the Background, compared to Skills?
For Katsuki Yuuri, this wiki uses "Yuuri" with two Us. For Plisetsky, though, it uses "Yuri".
According to his name in Katakana, ユーリ, it should also be spelled Yuuri with two Us. Maybe someone spelled it Yuri to not confuse it with Katsuki's but it really should be Yuuri too.
I think for it to not be confusing, This wiki should refer to Japanese Yuuri as Katsuki (since the japanese often use their family name anyway) and Russian Yuuri as Yuuri. Am I allowed to fix this?
